The Daugherty Family Fund was created in 2009 through the Huntington County Community Foundation by The Daugherty Companies, Inc. President David L. Daugherty in honor of his parents H. L. and Martha Daugherty. Mr. Daugherty along with his parents and family believed that in helping their employees and community strive to better themselves through hard work and education, that a better tomorrow for everyone is obtainable! With this in mind The Daugherty Family Fund scholarship was born!
The Daugherty Family Fund’s main focus is for the current employees, retirees, and the immediate descendants of employees of The Daugherty Companies, Inc., but is not limited to the employees of the company it’s also available to Warren, IN area youth who are interested in the study of agriculture related careers.
